Thank you to all the concerned people who saw that we had a birch tree removed on the corner of F Street and Tyler Street in Port Townsend. We were upset that it had to be removed.
Unfortunately, the tree had come to the end of its life span and was rotted, especially in the upper branches. It also was dangerously close to the high-tension electrical wires overhead and thus has become a liability should it topple over and be a danger to pedestrians.
