LETTER: It’s a flu-shot epidemic spreading

Raise your hand if you got a flu shot this season. Raise your hand if you proceeded to get the flu or “flu-like symptoms.” If your hand is up and you were required by terms of employment to get the flu shot – how long after you took the jab before you fell ill?

While the virus was incubating in you – before you knew you would be sick – how many people might you have shed the virus to, thinking you were protected? It could be argued that this is not a “flu” epidemic, rather a “flu shot” epidemic. I have not met anyone who has the flu who hasn’t had the shot, and they are very sick – and still out and about, spreading and shedding.

Rather than protecting people from flu, the vaccine itself appears to be contributing to its circulation. This would not be happening if the vaccine makers had not been indemnified from the harm of their products by the 1986 National Vaccine Injury Compensation Act. The great majority of the billions of dollars – $250 million last year alone – paid out in taxpayer-funded settlements for vaccine injury are for adverse events from the flu shot. Go to the Justice Department’s website and search for vaccine injury compensation and you will find many acknowledged harms caused by flu vaccines. They are firmly in denial at the moment, but when the CDC and their echo-chamber health departments finally admit that their “medicine” was the cause of the 2016-2017 flu epidemic – along with a host of lifetime illnesses spawned by the ethyl mercury component – the whole house of cards will come fluttering to the ground. That’s precisely why that will not happen.
