I needed a knee replacement, so I attended a Feb. 23 information session presented by the new orthopedic surgeon team at Jefferson Healthcare. After reviewing the new team’s web information, I selected Dr. Naumann to do my knee surgery.
My surgery was on April 10, and I came home April 12. Since I had my right knee replaced in December 2015 at another hospital, I can compare the two surgeries. Dr. Naumann’s process resulted in much less swelling and pain, which aided a faster recuperation. I walked with minimal pain three days after my April 10 procedure.
I had an excellent experience at Jefferson Healthcare hospital. Each staff person I encountered was professional, competent and caring.
Each was proud to work at Jefferson, a compliment to Jefferson’s management. Plus, the room was clean and bright with a beautiful view of Admiralty Bay.
I feel we are very fortunate to have a new team of excellent orthopedic surgeons here on the peninsula. They are providing quality, state-of-the-art surgical services at Jefferson Healthcare, an excellent hospital in Port Townsend.
