In the article in last week’s Leader [April 19] on dog leash enforcement, there were some pretty incredible statements supposedly made by a couple of people about unleashed dogs.
I took a walk on North Beach a couple of weeks ago, and there were some unleashed dogs enjoying themselves. So, I sat down on a log and enjoyed watching them.
Unfortunately, there was a leashed dog who wanted to play, but couldn’t. Kind of sad.
By the way, I’ve been bitten once by a dog in Port Townsend. He was on a leash.
