LETTER: City’s pot holes need pots of money

I was really disappointed when I read that there is no money in the city budget for street repairs. The streets in my Dundee Hill neighborhood are in terrible shape.

There is an enormous pothole at the end of Hancock Street where it meets 32nd Street. I would not be surprised to find out that it is 10 or more feet across. That pothole has been there for more than four years.

I hope that a pothole that size does not develop on Water or Lawrence street since there is no money for repairs. Then again it might add to the Victorian image. The streets around my neighborhood certainly look like they date back to Victorian days.

Maybe our new president will send us some “big league” infrastructure funding.
