I would like to thank you for the fine special Graduation Keepsake insert recently published featuring the area graduates. Your paper has been taking some criticism about coverage of high school sports and activities, however, the insert keepsake was very well done and meaningful for many, many graduates and their families.
Operating a small weekly newspaper must be a challenge, especially here in Port Townsend. There are varied interests and outspoken people to let you know what they want to read. A significant portion of the population living here are retired persons from other parts of the country. The local schools have plenty of competition for space.
From the school district’s perspective, you hit it out of the park this time. Thank you for your effort.
