Jefferson Transit unanimously approved its budget for next year during the Transit Authority Board’s Dec. 20 meeting.
The transit municipality anticipates $7.29 million in total revenue with $6.86 million in operating expenses.
Most of Jefferson Transit’s funding will come from taxes, federal grants, and transportation revenues.
The transit agency anticipates 50.77 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff in 2023, which is a decrease from 2022’s 52.6 FTE numbers.
