The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 360 calls for service between Friday, March 3 and Friday, March 10. Below are selected reports.

At 2:11 p.m. Tuesday, March 7 in Port Hadlock, a theft was reported from an RV business. 

Dead batteries — two 6-volt batteries and two 12-volt batteries — were stolen.

A deputy tried to get fingerprints from the scene.

At 11:18 a.m. Thursday, March 9 in Port Hadlock, a woman reported a case of malicious mischief. She said a window on her Jeep had been broken out overnight.

The woman thought a tenant on her property was the culprit, given that there has been an ongoing dispute.

At 5:05 p.m. Thursday, March 9 in Port Hadlock, a burglary was reported at a roofing business.

Business files that contained information on five to six potential jobs were missing from an office.

The owners think the person responsible may have been an employee who was terminated in November.

Pry marks were found on a door jamb.

A deputy will attempt to contact the suspect.

At 9:20 a.m. Friday, March 10 in Chimacum, a woman said her uncle came by but the visit was not welcome.

He was asked to leave but delayed his departure.

The man had been previously told to stay away.

The woman said she would seek a court order to prevent him from coming back.
