The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 244 calls for service between Friday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 18. Below are selected reports.

At 4:01 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 in Brinnon, a caller reported a drunk sister who should be removed from the property and trespassed.

The sister had a stick in her hands.

A deputy determined it was a civil dispute. The property was owned by the family and the sister could be on the property, but not in any of the houses since she did not live there.

The woman was very drunk and was unable to listen to reason. She then said she was going to start a fire to stay warm.

A deputy determined that a mental health issue was also at play.

At 11:27 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 in Port Hadlock, a man reported a woman who was harassing him.

While he was at the Crazy Otter, the woman left a pop can on his windshield and put a scratch on his car that extended to a bumper. He said she was staring at him through the fence of the business while he was on the back patio.

An employee told the woman to leave, and she was seen heading to the grocery store, where a worker there also asked her to be trespassed.

A deputy responded and contacted the woman after talking to the man.

It was learned the woman and the man had once been a couple and had a child, and the woman came to see her ex so she could visit the child. She said there had been no yelling on her part, and she had left when she was asked to leave.

She admitted to leaving an empty Red Bull can on the car, but denied leaving a scratch on the vehicle.

The can was found under a windshield wiper, and a deputy noted a new scratch that had fresh shavings on it.

At 10:47 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 in Brinnon, a missing person was reported.

The caller’s father was last seen Oct. 26 at Dosewallips State Park, and he had been planning to take a trip to Trout Lake and stay there for a week or two.

The man has not been heard from since.

Deputies checked the area but were unable to find the man’s van. He was later discovered in Klickitat County, and he said he was planning on traveling in the Pacific Northwest while the weather was still good, and then departing for Texas.

At 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 in Port Hadlock, a caller reported a burglary.

The house had been broken into within the last 30 days. Tools were taken, and a gun safe was found pried open. Several firearms were also stolen.

It appeared the burglar entered the residence through a window.
