At 9:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 in Port Hadlock, a man said he was going to shoot someone. He said he had a gun.

Dispatchers noted the caller sounded either drunk or high on drugs.

The caller then told a dispatcher: “[Expletive] that! I’m not going to let you get shot. I’m going out of here.”

Deputies arrived and found someone on the scene was wanted on a felony warrant and was taken to the Clallam County jail.

Authorities determined the original caller had gotten the threat through a third party. The caller appeared to be under the influence of methamphetamine.

A deputy spoke with the person who allegedly made the threats, and the person denied making such statements.

At 3:39 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 in Port Hadlock, dispatchers received a 911 hangup call.

The person called back a short time later, and complained of being harassed. The caller, a person in his 30s, complained about a person who keeps showing up at his home and verbally harasses him.

The suspect was a 10-year-old boy on a scooter and had been at the home four times that day. The boy was once related to the caller by marriage.

A deputy contacted the caller and suggested the man contact the boy’s parents.

At 3:56 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 in Brinnon, a caller reported hearing a large number of shots from a rifle.

The caller also said someone had shot the lock off of a gate.

The property owner could see two people in a sedan nearby and both had pistols on their hips.

The caller also said another subject had shot the camera on the property.

The Washington State Patrol responded and an officer could see someone in the house hiding.

As an officer was talking with the homeowner, more shots were heard. A deputy investigated but was unable to locate the source of the sounds.

At 10:49 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14 in Port Ludlow, someone came to the sheriff’s office to report the theft of a log splitter.

It had been left on person’s driveway, and was last seen Thursday evening.
