The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 208 calls for service between Friday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Dec. 2. Below are selected reports.

At 8:46 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29 in Port Hadlock, a man was bitten by a dog in the 800 block of Ness’ Corner Road.

The caller said her husband tried to break up a fight between two dogs but was bitten on the hand.

At 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 in Quilcene, a caller said an outdoor motor had been stolen from a boat in the 700 block of Dabob Post Office Road.

A number of items that were inside the boat were also taken.

The loss was estimated at $2,600. There are no suspects.

At 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 in Brinnon, a caller reported a burglary in the 30800 of U.S. Highway 101.

A trailer and shed were broken into and jewelry and tools were taken.

An estimate of the loss was not available; there are no suspects.

At 9:28 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 in Port Hadlock, a caller said someone took gas from a parked vehicle and broke the gas cap during the theft.

About 15 gallons of gas had been siphoned. The thief also entered the vehicle but nothing else appeared missing.

The investigation is continuing and there is a possible suspect.

At 3:18 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 in Port Hadlock, a vessel was reportedly washed ashore on the beach near the marina.

The vessel was described as 22-feet in length and was bright yellow.

At 9:38 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2 in Port Hadlock, a caller said several storage units had been broken into and items were missing.

The theft was reported in the 1200 block of Chimacum Road. The caller will put together a list of things that were stolen.

The case remains under investigation.
