The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 211 calls for service between Friday, Dec. 9 and Friday, Dec. 16. Below are selected reports.

At 1:23 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 in Nordland, an unknown person put sugar in someone’s gas tank in the 300 block of East Beach Drive.

At 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 in Port Hadlock, a hospital employee reported a dog bite that had occurred in the 100 block of Laurel Street.

The dog belonged to the patient.

At 7:53 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 in Port Hadlock, a burglary was reported in the 100 block of Old Ferry Road.

The residence had been used as an Airbnb and the owners were not in the area at the time.

A list of missing items will be prepared.

At 12:41 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 in Port Hadlock, an anonymous caller said someone in Port Hadlock has multiple dogs that do not have licenses.

The caller wanted a welfare check made, but did not know the address.

At 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in Chimacum, a vicious animal was reported in the 400 block of Sandy Shore Road.

A caller said a dog had been killing chickens, and showed an animal control officer where the dead fowl were at.

The dog is believed to be related to a nearby call for service from the previous day.

At 1:36 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in Port Hadlock, disorderly conduct was reported in the 100 block of Lower Hadlock Road.

Residents in the area called about an argument in a parking lot. A deputy determined a minor assault may have taken place, but the victim was not interested in pursuing charges. Instead, the victim wanted the other person removed from the property and issued a trespass admonishment.

At 11:02 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in Port Hadlock, an anonymous caller complained of a noisy generator in the 100 block of West Kinkaid Street.

Deputies located the generator and contacted a resident, and began work with a nonprofit to assist the resident with the person’s electricity bills.
