The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 288 calls for service between Friday, Jan. 27 and Friday, Feb. 3. Below are selected reports.
At 3:05 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 in Port Hadlock, a healthcare provider made a mandatory report of a dog-bite victim who had received treatment.
The dog bite occurred in Port Gamble, and the patient had been bitten by a pet.
At 3:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan 29 in Port Hadlock, a woman said someone had keyed her black 2015 Chevrolet Malibu.
The woman said she thought she knew who had damaged her vehicle. She gave the name of a person who had earlier threatened to key her vehicle and also smash her windows out.
A deputy photographed the damage to the Chevrolet.
No physical evidence was found to link the suspect to the damage. The suspect was already in custody and authorities will add a charge of harassment.
At 3:32 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 in Chimacum, a cabin was reported to have been burglarized.
The cabin had been broken into within the past two days.
An electric guitar, two microphones, and $700 in cash was missing.
A deputy met the owner of the cabin at the property. The missing guitar was described as a pink/purple Harmon electric guitar. The other items stolen were a JZ and Sterling audio microphones, a headlamp, and a camping chair.
