The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 211 calls for service between Friday, Dec. 9 and Friday, Dec. 16. Below are selected reports.
At 12:18 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 in Port Hadlock, an incident of malicious mischief was reported in the 100 block of Curtis Street.
Two roommates returned home after having some adult beverages at a local establishment. One of the pair grabbed a rock and threw it through a window of the residence.
The caller wanted the incident documented.
At 11:28 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 in Port Hadlock, a burglary was reported in the 200 block of Chimacum Road.
Five storage units were broken into; it was not immediately known what was taken. The deputy was awaiting contact from the storage unit manager, who would provide contact information for the victims.
The investigation is continuing.
At 8:35 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 in Brinnon, a medical provider reported an animal bite that happened in the 3800 block of Dosewallips Road.
A woman was bitten by her own cat.
At 5:24 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12 in Port Ludlow, a burglary was reported in the 100 block of West Mats Mats Lane after two people were seen in an unoccupied home.
They were gone when deputies arrived. The investigation is continuing.
