It would be hard to overstate how pleased we are to be presenting our first public concert in 18 months. Even so, we are taking precautions to minimize risks. The audience will sit on the grass outside the McCurdy Pavilion in carefully measured and distanced segments. And they’ll be listening to Live Jazz. And not just any Live Jazz.
The concert will feature John Clayton, Artistic Director and bass; Dick Oatts, alto sax; Terell Stafford, trumpet; Wycliffe Gordon, trombone; Dawn Clement, piano; Miles Okazaki, guitar; Marion Hayden, bass; and Carl Allen, drums. Please join us as we celebrate the return of live music to Centrum and Fort Worden State Park. It’s bound to be an emotional day. $25 – 18 and under free
