Jim slipped away quietly at home on September 10th, losing a long, hard-fought battle with cancer - but never his abounding spirit.
J.J. will be remembered for his music, wit, and sunny attitude. He touched so many lives on Vashon Island and in Port Townsend, where he lived for many years. His passing reflected the eiptome of grace and heart - a shining example of his deep spiritual faith, and an example of how this transition can be made. He was an excellent photographer and it was one of his real passions.
A memorial will be held on November 7th at Unity Church and Spiritual Enrichment Center, 3918 San Juan Ave., at 2:00 p.m.
