The Port Townsend High School Scholarship Foundation is happy to announce the opening of this year’s application period for PTHS graduates who are currently enrolled in their sophomore, junior, or senior year of college, or in the second or subsequent year of a certificate program.

Applicants can find more information at theWashboard.org.

Any PTHS graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in coursework completed since her/his PTHS graduation date is encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Oct. 31, and requires current recommendations, transcripts, and other supporting materials.

The foundation has been granting support to local college students since its inception in 1974. Up to $30,000 will be awarded in this application cycle. Scholarships for graduating seniors are awarded in the spring of each year.

The foundation accepts contributions to its endowment fund and monies to fund a current year memorial or named scholarship.

More information is available by contacting one of our co-presidents at 360-643-1077 or at lolo.shert
