Well it is pretty obvious after reading the Health and Wellness insert in the Feb. 1 Leader that we do not need a Health and Wellness Center because we already have one.
Our whole town is a health and wellness center. All we need is a swimming pool.
The $175,000 the city recently gave to a company to figure out how to do a Health and Wellness Center is a waste of the company’s time and your money.
Tell them to shift gears and just build a pool. Don’t make it complicated.

I agree with Nancy Erreca, but I will go a step further.
We elect officials hopefully based upon the qualifications they bring to the office. It is time for us to elect a city council and county commissioners who have demonstrated good logical decision making.
Today we have a council and commissioners who seem unable to make a decision without spending inordianate amounts of money on consultants. Would they do that if it was their money?
Nancy is right, we just need a pool! Simplify the decision further and put it in the same place as the existing pool.

I have to agree with you, Mr. Oliveira - sometimes I wonder if this town is run by Dr. Seuss.
