Humane Society of Jefferson County continues work with limited public visitation

Posted

The Humane Society of Jefferson County remains open during the COVID-19 crisis, but is asking the public to stay home and do what they can to accomplish business with them online.

Adoptable animals can be viewed and dog license applications can be submitted on the shelter’s website.

The shelter has said its volunteers continue to work with the animals as they ramp up sanitation and cleaning practices, but that only members of the public who are surrendering animals, turning in strays or have previously arranged to adopt an animal will be allowed to enter the shelter.

More information can be found at hsjcwa.org.
