The Hospice Foundation for Jefferson Healthcare welcomes four new members to its board of directors.
Joining the board for three-year terms are Barbara Berthiaume; Bob Carter; Anna DuPen, ARNP; and Karen Robison.
Berthiaume lives in Port Ludlow and has experience designing and conducting workshops for schools, nonprofits and international companies on transition. She has a Master of Social Work degree and had a private counseling practice in London specializing in transition and trauma.
Carter is a lifelong resident of Port Townsend and was an insurance agent for 38 years before retiring. He is a 35-year member of Kiwanis, past board member of the Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Main Street, Key City Public Theatre and EDC.
DuPen moved to the Coyle Peninsula last year from Kitsap County after a 30-year career in nursing. Most recently, she was a palliative care nurse practitioner at the University of Washington Medical Center involved in clinical care, staff education and quality improvement activities.
Robison assists individuals in writing their life stories as legacies for their families. She also served as the executive director of a complementary health care facility for 12 years before moving to Port Townsend.
