The Port Hadlock foursome Hollow Moon performed outside Dove House Advocacy Service’s Recovery Cafe Monday, Oct. 26, part of a semi-virtual fundraiser for the nonprofit’s “Deck out Recovery Cafe!” effort.
Ultimately, Dove House needs $25,000 to construct a deck on which to host appropriately distanced outdoor events and gatherings. The campaign went through Halloween and has, as of earlier this week, raised $26,148.
The Hollow Moon show, attended by a small in-person audience, was also streamed via social media and radio. It was the last of four virtual events put on as part of the fundraiser.
Hollow Moon is Jon Isenhower, George Yoder, Christian Powers, and Conor Sisk, who specialize in energetic rock with psychedelic flavoring and a melodic and catchy vocal styling. The band recently formed in 2020 during the pandemic shutdown and have been getting together every Monday in Port Hadlock to write songs.
