This is my final letter of the decade!

The art of writing a letter is to find a way to share positive and meaningful thoughts to others. I am so grateful for having lived here since 1991 and realized that change is inevitable as well as necessary.

Sometimes I long for the times which were simpler for me to communicate and take chances. As I grow older I value the long time friends and the locals who share a common history here.

In the final two weeks of 2019, I hope to learn how to thrive better with more and more exercise, less impatience with myself, more chances for fun and laughter as well as savoring the good memories of playing piano and singing with the Community Chorus, attending Voiceworks and Gospel Choir as well as attending Olympic Music Festival and all the amazing exciting events at Centrum throughout the year.

When I remember those bright sunlight afternoons sitting outside of McCurdy Pavilion or the Free Fridays or Concert on the Dock it warms my body and heart and gives me something wonderful to look forward to next year.

I am lighting a candle on the first night of Channukah to celebrate all kinds of miracles each of us have experienced.

Just to be alive and safe and knowing there are people in our small arts community that care about one another gives me hope and hope is what is needed in times like these.

Healthy New Year to each of you.
