The Munn family of Quilcene is bringing back MoonFest for the weekend of Aug. 21-23 at 322 Munn Road, on the shore of Lake Leland.
The musical lineup includes singer/songwriter Bill Carter, the Herbivores, Ian Moore, Geoffrey Castle, Randy Linder, Junkyard Jane and Hendrix Music Academy. Tickets start at $25 per day.
Kayak Brinnon is renting kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for use on Lake Leland. Tie-dyeing, qigong and Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue offer other diversions.
A campground on the property opens at noon on Friday, and closes at 3 p.m., Sunday. Campsite fees start at $20. The site is about five miles north of Quilcene, and 20 miles south of Port Townsend.
