Will the laughs add up?
Find out when stand-up comedian and college calculus instructor Todd Basil performs at FairWinds Winery this weekend.
Todd Basil will be hosting an outdoor comedy show and performing as headliner at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 30. Other comedy performers are expected.
Basil was a house emcee at Flapper’s Comedy Club in Burbank, California, and has performed at clubs, festivals, wineries, breweries, and other events along the West Coast.
Event organizers note he aims to create a welcoming experience for the audience, and his comedy is free of toxic masculinity and hate speech. He can also make math funny, but won’t make the audience do any math during the show.
Basil is also cohost and producer of Hello Sucker! Comedy showcases at multiple venues in the Portland, Oregon area. Check out his manic one-minute podcast titled “I. Drank. Too. Much. Coffee!” on Apple Podcasts.
Tickets are $10 in advance on Eventbrite (search for “Comedy Show @ Fairwinds”) and $15 at the door, and seating for the show is at 6:30 p.m.
The performance is for people 21 and older.
FairWinds Winery is at 1984 Hastings Ave. W., Port Townsend; bring a blanket or folding chairs for the show.
