The Jefferson County Fair Association (JCFA) is hosting the 15th annual Community Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 18 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

The garage sale/flea market is open to all vendors: commercial, arts and crafts, direct sales and others. There are more than 40 different garage sales, with a wide variety of goods, including antiques, tools, household items, collectibles, furniture, books, glassware and handmade items, all at the fairgrounds.

JCFA is offering an early-bird VIP shopper’s pass for $10. VIPs can start shopping at 8:15 a.m. before the general public is admitted at 9 a.m. Passes are available at the information booth the day of the sale starting at 8 a.m.

In conjunction with the Community Garage Sale, JCFA holds its own annual garage sale. Items may be donated to the association for its garage sale. Anyone wishing to donate items can drop them off at the fairgrounds between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. through Friday, March 17 or call the fair office to set up a time.

The Jefferson County Fair and the county fairgrounds are funded, maintained and operated year around by the JCFA, a nonprofit corporation.

The Community Garage Sale is one of four events that the JCFA sponsors annually to support the fair and fairgrounds. The others are the Jefferson County Fair, which is set for Aug. 11-13 this year, and the Jefferson County Holiday Fair, set for Nov. 4-5.
