Jefferson Healthcare serves our community by providing excellent patient care while running an effective business operation. With strong credentials relevant to each of these areas, Bruce McComas is well qualified to serve as hospital commissioner.
As former general manager and vice president of Port Townsend Paper Co., McComas has the business experience needed to guide a complex enterprise such as Jefferson Healthcare.
Bruce will bring a strong patient advocate and caregiver perspective to the commission, having served on their Patient and Family Advisory Committee, Patient Financial Experience Task Force and his recent personal experience caring for his wife, Teri, during her battle with cancer.
Citizen of the Year in 2008, Bruce has an outstanding record of serving our community, including school board member, past president of the Jefferson County Community Foundation and founding member of Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County.
We enthusiastically support Bruce McComas for hospital commissioner.
