The East Jefferson Rivals varsity softball team earned its first victory of the season, and first victory ever as a combined softball program, back in mid-April.
The girls defeated Vashon Island High School 16-13 while away from home on April 19.
The win brings the team’s record to 1-13 (1-12 conference) as the squad prepares for a double header matchup against Vashon Island again this Friday at Blue Heron Middle School.
