“From their block they could watch...heart-rending scenes when mothers were torn away from their children.” Laredo Detention Center, Laredo, TX? Central Texas Detention Center, San Antonio, TX?  Neither. The Birkenau-Auschwitz complex, Poland, 1943-4. (A Train in Winter, by Caroline Moorehead, p. 241. 2011.) These are French women Resistance prisoners watching the arrival of Hungarian Jews.

It’s impossible for most Americans to imagine the depths of Nazi barbarism. It’s impossible for some Americans to imagine a receptive audience in the United States for Trump’s atrocities.

"Trump’s atrocities", really? you're comparing the Trump administration enforcing our border laws in dealing with the hordes of invaders from Central America to what the Nazis did in WWII. Really, you're going to equate the pogroms of Poland and other European nations with migrants entering our country illegally, being treated as the criminals they are?

Another Trump-hater incapable of rational thought.
