Lucie Duclos of Port Townsend is hoping to win big with a fabric design on a website called Spoonflower. Her fabric design, titled "Multiflorum," can be voted on from Oct. 8 to Oct. 14 on the website.

"Spoonflower is a print-on-demand site where anybody can upload their designs and print their own fabrics or gift wrap or wallpaper," Duclos explained. "This year, the annual Spoonflower.com 'Fabric8' contest is sponsored by Moda Fabrics, one of the largest fabric manufacturers in the U.S.... If I win the last round, I will be offered a contract to design a fabric collection for them," she said, "a longtime dream of mine to have my design sold all over the country in every fabric store."

To help Duclos achieve her dream, visit spoonflower.com between Oct. 8 and 14 and vote for Duclos' design called "Multiflorum." Her designer name on Spoonflower is "Snowflower."
