Dorothy was born on July 15th to Sara Katherine and Harry Bruce Huntley. She married Harry Fishel on February 22nd, 1964. They had their son Nick and daughter Sara in the years following. Dorothy often reflected on growing up in Polson, with her brothers Jay, Jasper, Bruce, Howard, Nathan, her baby brother George and sister Dorla. After getting married to Harry, they moved around the Olympic Peninsula and Seattle area where she became close to her in-laws Edith and Clarence. She kept her house full of her children, grandkids and their friends. On weekends you could often find her square dancing, or playing games with family and friends. After moving to Washougal she kept busy volunteering at the Treasure House until she followed Harry the bottom of the world. She worked two seasons at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. She would get a twinkle in her eye when she would tell you she beat Harry to The South Pole. She lives on in her grandkids Hunter, Rickie, Patrick, Mindy, Jen, Brian, Allen and Jake, along with her many great grandkids.

Please have a laugh with her one last time and watch her favorite SNL skit "Schweddy Balls". A celebration of life will be held at noon on April 7, 2024 at The Eagles in Washougal. 1910 Main St, Washougal, WA 98671. This summer there will be another gathering in Montana for Dorothy.
