Returning to the golf course for their weekly play, the Discovery Bay Women’s Club came together for a game of “Criss Cross.”
The game involves each golfer playing her 18-hole round, with holes from the front nine and back nine being paired up (ex. Hole 1 and Hole 10, Hole 2 and Hole 11, etc.) and lending the participant to select the better of their paired up holes to tally a final, nine-hole score.
Jodi Stone took the top honors once again with a score of 26 to earn first place. Taking second, Cindy Westwood tallied a score of 28.
Tied for third place with scores of 29 each were Barb Aldrich and Wanda Synnestvedt.
Stone also won first place in low putts with 28 in 18 holes. Regulation putts are 36.
In honor of Memorial Day weekend, the Discovery Bay Women’s Club is set to play “Flags” for next Thursday’s game. After that, the club members are set to enjoy hors d’oeuvre in the golf course clubhouse.
