After going on a one-year hiatus, the Port Townsend chapter of the Disabled American Veterans reopened Wednesday, May 5.
The group, dedicated to providing free, professional assistance to vets looking to receive benefits, is open from 9:30 a.m. to
2:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Port Townsend Community Center located at 620 Tyler St.
Veterans are not required to become members of the DAV to receive assistance but appointments are required.
