The number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Jefferson County climbed to 141, officials with Jefferson County Public Health reported Friday afternoon.
Two additional cases of COVID were reported Nov. 20. Health officials said two Port Townsend men in their 20s had been infected with the coronavirus.
County health officials reported that 86 patients in Jefferson County have recovered from COVID-19 and are no longer hospitalized.
No deaths in Jefferson County have been linked to the coronavirus.
According to Jefferson County Public Health, a total of 12,218 patients have been tested for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and 12.019 have tested negative.
Test results are still pending for 58 people.
On Friday, a total of 31 patients were in isolation.
The two week COVID-19 case rate (per 100,000 population) was at 100.31 Friday.
So far, 69 COVID cases have been found in Port Townsend residents; 57 in mid-county residents; and 15 in south county (Quilcene, Brinnon, and West Jefferson).
Most of the confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Jefferson County — 72 so far — have been found in men. Sixty-nine women who live in the county have tested positive for COVID-19 through Friday.
