Constance Macdonald, MD passed away peacefully on Oct. 22, 2020 at the age of 92 in Port Townsend, Washington. She was born in Milton, Massachusetts and grew up in Duxbury, Massachusetts. She attended Wells College and went to medical school at Boston University. She was a remarkable woman and became one the first female doctors at her time.
Constance worked as a Pediatrician at Group Health Cooperative of Seattle for more than 30 years, at which time she lived in the Montlake neighborhood of Seattle. She spent much of her leisure time sailing the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands during retirement in Port Ludlow, Washington where she was a former member of the Port Ludlow Yacht Club. Her remains will be laid to rest at the Mayflower cemetery in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Services will be private.
