Concerts in the Barn returns for final weekend

Posted

Concerts in the Barn will present their final weekend of chamber music at the iconic barn in Quilcene this weekend Aug. 28 to Aug. 29.

The final weekend’s performers are the Fulton Street Chamber Players — consisting of Cordula Merks , violin; Rachel Swerdlow, viola; Walter Gray, cello; and George Lopez, piano — and they will perform pieces from composers Ken Benshoof, Robert Schumann, and Ernö Dohnányi. Benshoof will be in attendance for Saturday’s performance.

All concerts are free to the public, however, all concertgoers must reserve their place in the barn or on the lawn in advance through Brown Paper Tickets, accessible through the home page of concertsinthebarn.org. COVID-19 precautions have been taken, and those sitting in the barn have been asked to bring proof of vaccination to enter. Those sitting on the lawn outside do not need proof of vaccination status to enter.

Visit concertsinthebarn.org for guidelines and more information, as well as more performance dates, programs, and artist information.
