I am replying to the comments by those responding to the mandate in both Clallam and Jefferson Counties, where patrons of restaurants and bars are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Allison Berry. I understand you have been threatened and harassed by those who object to the ruling for the counties.
However, this is the right thing to do to help curb this pandemic. We could only wish 100 percent of residents of our county would be willing to be vaccinated. This would not only protect themselves, but the rest of us as well.
Those of us who have been fully vaccinated can still get the virus and spread the virus, although at a much lesser degree than the unvaccinated. I’m not saying anything new. I’m totally willing to wear a mask whenever requested. Not a problem for me.
I am in full support of Dr. Allison Berry, public health officer for both Clallam and Jefferson counties.
Allison, stay the course. We are behind you!
