Bill Dean of the Port Ludlow Village Council (above) was on a team of community leaders in 2015 and 2016 that pushed Jefferson County to take action on timber harvesting by Port Ludlow Associates. Dean surveyed the harvesting in 2015 with Dave McDearmid of the Ludlow Maintenance Commission Special Committee and Dave Jurca of the South Bay Community Association.
