Seattle-based singer-songwriter Katie Kuffel and her trio are to perform Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Concert in the Woods in Coyle. “I often think of Katie Kuffel as our own, local version of Norah Jones,” said concert series organizer Norm Johnson. Her contemporary music draws from blues, jazz and folk, and her lyrics tackle concepts such as femininity, mental health and the complexity of emotions.
