Dear Editor:

I read the “Do better” article in the forum 7/26/23. The author is cancelling The Leader subscription because of a lack of reporting on LGBTQ gay pride. Many people are sick of having Gay Pride pushed on us.

"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18-19). We live at a time when men call right, wrong and wrong, right. At a time when evil is called good and good is called evil. Jesus spoke of times just like these in Matthew, chapter 24. The apostle Paul wrote of these times in II Timothy, chapter 3.

Gay pride is just self serving. It’s a great sin and the Bible “God’s Word” speaks against this in many verses.

Leviticus 18:22

“You shall not sleep with a male as one sleeps with a female; it is an abomination.” That also goes for  females with females.

Gay Pride is just trying to force the public to accept the sinful lifestyle. Why is it that when anyone speaks out against LGBTQ, BLM, of Antifa they go on the attack with verbal assaults and demands that the person lose their employment? Its like the lady at the Port Townsend swimming pool gets kicked out of the pool for expressing a concern.

If you want to partake in a sinful lifestyle then keep it to yourself and stop pushing it on others. Stop demanding special rights the rest of us don’t have. If you want to join BLM, Antifa, and other hate groups keep that to yourself and don’t hurt people and burn down neighborhoods.

Remember, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall,” (Proverbs 16:18-19).
