Two visitors to downtown Port Townsend pause near a leaning light pole at the corner of Washington Street and Quincy Street Thursday.
According to Port Townsend police, a motorhome clipped the street light as it was rounding the corner and knocked the pole off-kilter shortly after lunchtime Aug. 27.
The case is being investigated as a hit-and-run. The driver of the motorhome drove away after the crash.
Police have the license plate number of the vehicle, and because the number did not match a Washington plate, it's assumed the motorhome belonged to a tourist.
An initial damage estimate was not immediately available.
