When do we move on? It has been over two months since the contested election. Joe Biden was certified and inaugurated this past week. IT IS OVER!
It’s saddening to see how many people are still complaining about Donald Trump. Seeing so many people talk about changing our democracy is disturbing.
The reality of the situation is, the same system that got Donald Trump elected also worked to get him out of office; that is how democracy works. Letters to the editor highlighting how terrible Trump is without acknowledging any of the shortcomings or skeletons in Joe Biden’s past are hypocritical.
Week after week I read The Leader and do not see any articles or letters to the editor that present a differing viewpoint, something new to consider, or anything that challenges the group think that is published.
Trump won’t get to make another decision that impacts your daily life. So can we move on now or will we continue to let Trump make us angry, anxious or sad?
I know what I choose.
