Artist Trust offering COVID relief funding

Posted

After almost a year after launching its Relief Fund, Artist Trust has begun a second phase of assistance.

Open to all Washington state artists of all disciplines, the fund helps those affected by COVID-19 financially and priority will be given to individuals who have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. This includes artists from historically marginalized communities, BIPOC artists, artists who are immunocompromised, artists who identify as LGBTQIA+, artists with immigrant status, and artists living with a disability.

Applications are now open and should be submitted by the end of Friday, March 26.

Applications will be reviewed by the Artist Trust program team using a scoring rubric developed through collaboration with local and national partners in artist relief funding.

Funds will be distributed in April to the chosen applicants.

Providing approximately 120 artists with $1,500 each, the relief fund is made possible through the generous support of the local arts communities.

Visit artisttrust.org to find an application and to view recovery resources that include other emergency funds, unemployment resources, and more.
