This note is to thank all the wonderful volunteers who helped make the 40th Rhody Run event a joyful and fun day for everyone.
Having the 6K gives more runners and walkers an opportunity to enjoy the beauty and challenges without injuring themselves.
For me, the opportunity to walk alone and focus on just that is one I look forward to each year. I know how special certain ates are for people and the Rhody pet parade and Rhody Run gives me so much energy and encouragement. It’s the caring staff of Jefferson Heathcare before the race and the Port townsend School of Massage giving pre and post massages and the metro bagels and beer that each create a sense of community. All kinds of people walking and running each in their own style and way that gives a special flavor and leaves such wonderful memories!
Thanks again to everyone who gave their time and love to our 40th Rhody Run!
The shirts are cool too!
