"I thought you were all FOR the sanctity of state law after the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision." The Roe v. Wade ruling always allowed the States to set time limits on when a b o r t i o n was or was not allowed.

I believe the States have the power/right to create laws as long as they do not conflict with the Constitution, some I agree with, some I disagree with. Sanctuary cities conflict with the Constitution so does the legalization of Cannabis. I agree with one and disagree with the other.
