Tech I - Solid Waste Division Jefferson County Public Works Dept seeks an individual with great customer service skills to work at the Transfer Station in Port Townsend. Duties: fee collection, scale house operations, powered industrial truck (forklift) operation, and performing ‘housekeeping’ to keep the site tidy and clean. Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, possess good common sense, & be self-directed & motivated. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED & demonstrated related experience and/or training, or equivalent; & valid WA State Driver’s License. Salary: Full pay range $22.77-27.24/hour.
