Since I was already signed-in, and because I haven't posted anything lately to the largely-unread BLOGS section of the online Leader, and because it seems like Tom Camfield (and this may be just my judgement, reading on the lines and between them) might not like that guy in the not-enough-gl…

erwindencejr commented on I Wanna Be in a Bob Dylan Song

I knew a Joyce, She had a voice; So lilting and so pleasant;
When I'm waist-deep in dread and doubt; her memory's ever-present.
Joyce was ever-kind, And I remind myself, Kindness soothes a heart that achin';
Perhaps not mine, I've crossed some line; Joyce would tell me I'm mistak…

erwindencejr commented on CUTTING THE CORD

Joyce, good luck on the book. Do, please, keep writing the occasional blog. I seems like Tom Camfield has to carry too much of the weight. I do realize it sometimes seems like screaming (or talking nicely) into a sort of unknown, but it all has some value. So... write on. I do feel your pain…

erwindencejr commented on Still undecided? Check this out

Tom, trying not to sound as if I'm trying to correct you, but my name is Erwin, after my father; and it's kind of critical to me because I have a brother named Edwin, after the doctor who delivered several of my siblings, but not me, delivered on the side of the road en route to the hospital…

erwindencejr commented on Temporary Backup Plan for New Year

Debbie, thanks for the input. I was just checking to see if my real new year's post was on the site. No. I'm not ashamed of the current blog; a little whiny. Well, so am I. Happy blogging.

erwindencejr commented on Partial Shutdown Affects Writers

Well, good to know. I'd never read a blog if I had to pay. As a matter of fact, I've never read any blogs other than at ptleader.com Oh, maybe if some one was nice enough to make a comment on my realsurfers.net I'd then check their work... so much of it is shameless promotion rather than …

erwindencejr commented on Partial Shutdown Affects Writers

Marge, thanks for reading. It does seem like requiring people to sign in has resulted in less commentary, particularly the anon (can't seem to spell the rest correctly) snipers. Knowing there is less of an audience, or believing there is does lessen one's (okay, my) desire to write something…
