Service crews for Puget Sound Energy had a busy day Friday around Puget Sound cleaning up after winds gusted through Thursday night and Friday morning.
The largest outage in Jefferson County started about 6:30 a.m. Friday when a tree branch disrupted a power line at 3590 Cape George Road, knocking out juice to 1,300 customers. Power was restored about 8:30 a.m.
A windblown tree knocked out power to an estimated 103 PSE customers north of Quilcene about 7 a.m. Friday. The power had not been restored as of 4 p.m.
There were small, scattered outages reported throughout PSE's service area, a spokesperson said Friday afternoon.
