A wind advisory is in effect through 7 p.m. Friday in Port Townsend.
The advisory also includes the Hood Canal region, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle.
A high wind warning is also in place for the North Coast of Washington, including the cities of Beaver, Clearwater, Forks, La Push, Neah Bay, Ozette, and Queets.
The high wind warning is through 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
The wind advisory was put in place of anticipation of south winds of 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph.
The high wind warning is based on forecasts of south winds of 30 to 40 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph.
