What’s a citizen to do?

Posted

In this time of uncertainty and fear about what is going on in the “other Washington” it is so hard to know what one person can do to combat the craziness.

What can I, as a 74-year-old woman living on the Olympic Peninsula, do to stop Donald Trump from destroying our democracy? The only things that I can think of are: vote, contact my representatives and send money.

I am lucky to be able to donate to campaigns to defeat the Republican’s “would-be king” but I just wish I could think of something else to help our country return to a place of truth, justice, sanity, kindness and normalcy. It’s frustrating.
