I am complicit in the deaths of thousands, and so are you. Israel has killed well over 40,000 men, women and more than 15,000 children in the Gaza strip. It appears that they are now intent on doing the same in Lebanon. Using American manufactured bombs and other munitions often dropped from U.S. manufactured warplanes, the Carnage continues.
Anyone who can still watch the news in the evening has seen the body bags both large and small being carried away from still-smoking piles of rubble while family members scream in agony.
It is clear that the Israeli nation, as exemplified by Netanyahu and his cabinet have little regard for Palestinian lives.
I am an American. I was born here and in all probability will die here. There have always been things that the US has done, which I do not agree with and often consider abhorrent. The current enabling of Israel to murder people with impunity, and by the tens of thousands, is undoubtedly one of the worst things this nation has ever done. I am appalled. I am ashamed. What can I do?
